Vehicle Detail

I bought this as you see it with the intent of taking a few parts for my Starlight Coupe, but after replacing the distributor just to see if I could get it running, I was actually shocked at how well it ran; smooth and quiet with no smoking or knocking. The previous owner said that it had been rebuilt some time in the past and it runs and looks like it has. With that behind me, I decided to check out the brakes. I honed the master cylinder since it wasn't pitted and proceeded to bleed the brakes and voila; I had brakes. So here is a car that needs a front end but the interior is awesome and it can be driven on and off a trailer. There is NO RUST but there is a small patch right under the clutch pedal, but not extending down to the flat floor. See the four mirrors I've placed at an angle to show off the beautiful floors. These are REAL wide whites; not those cheapie portawalls. Size L78 15 in very good condition with new heavy duty inner tubes. Just get a pair of fenders from a 50 - 51 and the radiator bracket to complete this ride. The hood and complete nose is included and it is in VERY good condition. There is a good back bumper but no front bumper. There is also a speedometer included along with the ignition key. And there are three cracked glasses. one front door glass and one rear door glass and one vent window. The good is the windshield and back glass along with one each the front door, back door and vent window. The three bad ones are only cracked; not broken. I received this car with a bill of sale and I can supply one to the new owner, or I can acquire a title from California Department of Motor Vehicles for my costs only. It's pretty cheap; it just takes time. The gold star program has been put in place for the sole purpose of increasing seller fees. If a seller receives fewer than 98 out of a possible 100 gold stars, their seller fees are drastically increased. Buyers have been cooperating with my request and my DSR's are about to drop below 10 in the past 12 months and when they do, my fees will go down. I really appreciate buyers leaving positive feedback but not taking part in the DSR program. On Jan-26-11 at 21:19:31 PST, seller added the following information: Not an automatic transmission. Three speed manual with overdrive. I must have hit a wrong button when listing it. Please feel free to cancel your bid. I may cancel the auction if I can't overcome the confusion on this. Sorry. On Jan-26-11 at 23:51:22 PST, seller added the following information: 37 watchers after just one day. And almost 700 visitors. I'm always amazed by this sort of thing. Are there this many potential buyers" Or are there this many potential sellers of the same item? On Jan-28-11 at 18:09:25 PST, seller added the following information: I will install the hood and assembled nose tomorrow and get pics up. The vin number is C878926 and the plate number was 152304V for Californians who want to check on the registration cost. I think it's $137.
