Up for sell is our 2001 Nissan Altima GXE sedan. My wife and I have owned this car for the last 7+ years. we recently bought an SUV and no longer need the Nissan (we moved and needed a 4x4 at our new home due to snow). The title is clear and on hand. PW PL CRUISE Power drivers seat CD, REAR DEFROST, I just had the car inspected a couple of days ago and the VA inspection sticker is good till Jan of 2012. The car runs great and we still drive it. the mileage will change a bit, but nothing excessive-- I may drive it locally a few times till it sells. currently it has 158,222 miles. It is green with tan interior, gray seats. there are a few cosmetic problems most of which could be easily fixed, but the car runs and drives great. it would make a good first car/work car. it gets great gas mileage. The tires are like new. They are about a year old and have almost no miles on them. KELLY BLUE BOOK VALUES THIS CAR AT $2575 IN FAIR CONDITION, $3225 IN GOOD CONDITION FOR PRIVATE BUYERS/SELLERS. Due to some issues I've had in the past with non-paying bidders and scammers there are a few things I have to say up front. A $500 deposit is due within 48 HOURS of auctions close, with the remainder due in cash or cashiers check upon taking possession of the car NO PERSONAL CHECKS. THE STARTING PRICE IS FIRM, I WILL NOT SELL IT OFF-EBAY OR LOWER THE PRICE PLEASE DO NOT ASK, IT IS AGAINST E-BAY POLICY and I will report any violators to e-bay. THE CAR IS SOLD AS IT IS WITH NO WARRANTY. OK, now that that is out of the way.... The car will need a new power steering pump soon. The pump currently makes noise when the car is first started. It may need a new alt. belt soon as well (I have a new belt that will go with the car). Other than that the car is in good shape mechanically. I wouldn't hesitate to take it on a long trip. As I said The car has a few cosmetic flaws that I will try to detail here: The front bumper cover needs replaced (you can find them here on e-bay already painted for about $200 less if you want to paint yourself.) I hit a chunk of snow in the middle of the road during last years blizzard and it claimed part of the cover (someone plowed their driveway and pushed a line of snow across the highway) Also about a year ago my wife sneezed while driving and managed to scrape a guard rail...you can see the damage in the pics. I sanded it down to bare metal and primered/painted it with touch up paint. the color matches but the texture is a little rough due to my lack of skill as a car painter. I also attempted to fix a few other scratches so there is touch up paint on both sides of the car, on the roof , and on the front bumper cover. there are a few superficial scratches on both sides of the car. and a small dent and scrape on the passenger side as you can see in the pics. The carpets are stained, but there are new rubber heavy duty floor mats that will go with the car. a small plastic panel next to the gas pedal is missing as well as the fuse box cover. (i have the fuse box cover but the clip that holds it is broken) The passenger side front and rear seats both have a couple of small cigarette burns from previous owners. We have not smoked in the car since we have owned it, and the interior has been steamed cleaned last summer. The CD player is acting up and won't play some CDs till it warms up for a few minutes (this could be the CDs I've burned--I'm not sure.) and one of the speakers sounds as if it may be ready to go. To the best of my knowledge that is all that is wrong with the car. I originally planned of fixing it up, but simply don't have the time, and we don't have need of a third car. So someone is going to get a great deal.
