A RetroCycle Restoration Auction! This is a 1983 Honda CR60 in very good condition. My kids have ridden this up to about a week ago when it just got to cold to ride. The kids that ride it most are getting bigger so we thought we'd sell it and look for something a bit bigger. Here's some information on the bike... Seat Height is about 26 inches at the lowest point. The engine received new crank seals, as well as a new bore, piston and rings last spring. Cylinder was bored .25 or first over. Compression is great and the bike starts right up easily. The air cleaner was new last year and in great shape. The rear shock is not blown and works well especially for smaller, lighter riders. The front forks had new fork seals installed yesterday. Visually the bike looks pretty nice, especially for it's age. Remember that this bike is almost 28 years old, it's not shiny and new. Last year I took the bike completely apart and painted the engine, frame and swingarm to make it look more up to date. The red plastic is in pretty good shape considering the age. Like most bikes with plastic gas tanks from this era, the gas tank fades a bit after about 2 months so I just take some regular oil and a paper towel to "rehydrate" the plastic and it looks great, for about 2 months, then I just do it again. The seat looks nice, it does have one small tear above the CR logo on the left side about 1 1/2 inches but it seems to have always been there and has not gotten bigger. Handle bars and levers are newer aluminum versions and not bent. Cables all move freely. Grips in good shape. Tires are good, with recently new inner tubes. The rear one is good for play riding but should probably be replaced for more aggressive play riding. I've been around and racing dirtbikes since 1973, I know my way around them and take good care of what I have. I can tell you that this is a great little bike for riding right away without troubles. There is no title for this bike, dirt bikes back in 1983 were not titled in Michigan. The VIN number is visable so if you want to you can go to Secretary of State and apply for a title, costs about 45 bucks. You can pay for this using Visa, Mastercard, Paypal or Cash.
