Good engine, runs well - daily driver. And it sure loves to hum along the highway! Paint needs attention, though there is little if any rust - exterior just needs some smoothing and a repaint to be in cherry condition. We got an estimate of $3500 from a classic car restoration shop for paint and body work - - less if we do the sanding - - not too bad! A lot of the chrome has already been restored or replaced. Cool wheels. Newer WHITEWALL tires with good tread. All electrical works well, except wiper motor. Recently replaced wheels, hubs, brake drums and manual steering gear box. Added Sony XM Radio system with a 6 CD changer and fancy sound system to trunk and installed nice speakers in rear dash - not original, for sure. Lift-out center console between driver and passenger seats is extremely convenient and does not detract from classic nature of the car. Smoke free. FUN orange and red on black FLAME FLOORMATS! I bought this sweet pony at a bankruptcy auction - and the prior owner was heartbroken. I drive it less than 5 miles round trip every day to work. I love all of the attention I get - this ride turns a lot of heads, especially on those HOT AUGUST NIGHTS with my window down, and elbow resting on the door frame. . . . memories!
