The classic motorcycle you have always dreamed of! A few years ago I purchased this blue 1970 Honda CB-450 in upstate NY from the original owner, a friend of mine. It was really a dream of mine to have it, as I had one exactly like it when I was a kid. I spent a lot of time cleaning it up, having it taken care of, and going for a few great rides through the countryside. I had tune-ups and other work done at a great shop in Orange County, NY. We put on brand new tires and installed a new battery. Motorcycle was running amazingly well. Had some really amazing rides. I bought a newer bike, and my wife really wants me to make space by selling this one.This past year the bike sat in the garage all year. When we went to start it this season, the bike was a little sluggish. I rebuilt the carburetors and it turns on, but there needs to be adjusting (unexpected high idling?). I don't have much time to work on it, and I am not a repair-man, so I don't know how to take it further. If you know your motorcycle parts, or are interested in spending time working on a classic, this is a great bike to spend time with. I just don't have the time to keep it up and running as well as it should be. With a little attention, you will love it. Every single time I have driven this bike, I get more attention than any other bike (even Harleys) on the road. Every guy comes up to me with nostalgia remembering when they had a bike just like it in the 70's. I get stopped with questions and curiosities, it really looks beautiful and unlike anything on the road these days. It breaks my heart that I can't get the bike to ride as well as it was when I got it. I know if you know how to work on a bike like this, you will enjoy it. Has original seat (we had the seat filled overseas by hand for extra comfort) that feels great.All parts in great condition, electrical works fine, horn/signals/brake are great. You can see my NJ registration on the license plate (Honda 70) in the picture. I have an actual Title and I have all the paperwork/receipts showing the shop that worked on the bike. The bike is in Toms River, NJ. We can set up a time for you to come see it. I also have it for sale locally and have the right to remove the listing if we get a good offer there.
