I purchased this car new from Wayzata Nissan, Wayzata, MN in 1990. It was my personal driver for four years, then took it to our second home in Rio Verde, AZ (East edge of Scottsdale), where it has been since. I'm actually driving the car back up to Minneapolis today. Note: The Autocheck from eBay is not correct for my car. I'm the oriinal and only owner the car had. Also the mileage stated at 42,814 is accurate. After a long successful reign, the Nissan 300ZX was replaced by the 350Z in 2003. Some believe the 300ZX styling is better looking than its successor. True to its heritage, the race-only 300ZX cars had several notable victories, including the 1986 Trans Am series and the 1994 24 Hours of Daytona. However, auto sports politics and a controversial GTS-1 class win at the 24 Hours of LeMans that same year prompted the International Motor Sports Association to declare the twin turbo engine illegal for future competition.[6] The 300ZX also holds the E/BMS land speed record of 419.84 km/h (260.87 mph) from the 1991 Bonneville Speed Trial.
