1977 Ford Ranchero GT and Cap Rock solid, super straight, original example of the last of Ford's big Ranchero's. Originally from California this GT has less only 69,000 mile on it! Starts up and runs correctly. Rides as comfortable and smooth as sitting on your living room couch. Fun to drive and very useful to own. Sat for many years before we purchased it a couple of years ago and it has only been driven just a few hundred miles since. It is powered by numbers matching, correct 351M V8 and smooth shifting 3 speed auto trans. The following things were done prior to our purchasing: New tires, partial exhaust (dual) and paint. Paint is near original dark brown and has (some orange peel) AC blows nice and cold. Have original GT dash cluster which previous owner switched out because some of the gauges did not work. Currently, clock and oil pressure gauges do not work. All other gauges including speedo, odo, tach, charge, fuel and temp work fine. Has cruise control which does not work. Carb was rebuilt. Has original vinyl power bench seats / upholstery. Driver side seat bottom was torn and tapped up by previous owner. We put seat covers on. Interior has normal wear and tear and is in above average condition for its age (see pictures) Carpet is very good. All sheet metal, frame and floor etc. are as solid as you will find (see pictures) The undercarriage is in amazing condition (see pictures) Bed is also in great condition including tail gate and hinges. Chrome is straight and has normal. Still very shiny. GT striping not present but is available aftermarket if desired. There are no indication that the Ranchero ever had a hitch, so we assume that is has never been used to tow anything. Ranchero is corporate owned and has been stored in a climate controlled commercial building since it was acquired. Clean Ohio title included. Included with this Ranchero is a full fiberglass cap / bed cover. Has a vent and sliding glass window on each side and locking rear hatch / window. It is white. Surface is pretty chalked from California sun, but could probably be rubbed out. We do not use it and it will not fit any other vehicle. We have done our best to accurately describe this vehicle.
