Restored 1955 Chevy Belair Hardtop, Gypsy Red/ India Ivory with a complimenting Red and Ivory tweed completely redone custom interior. This is an originally equipped V-8 car, now with a 350 V-8, 4 barrel carb and 400 automatic transmission with a floor shifter. 5 spoke American style wheels and BF Goodrich T/A 15" Raised white letter tires in like new condition. Hood, deck and side emblems shaved. New glass with tinted and shaded windshield. All trim is beautiful. New 605 power steering has been added as well as a custom fan shroud and alternater. Headliner has been replaced using the same tweed material as on the seats which looks great with the matching corded edging. The headliner bows have been completely rechromed. No power windows, seat or air conditioning. Radio delete with correct panel installed, Clock does not work. New dual horns. No spare tire nor spare alloy rim. Battery only out in photo to show firewall and new battery tray etc- battery will be included and installed. Variable speed wipers have been added. Mileage as shown as the listing requires a number, but the original miles are unknown. Floors ,trunk and frame are all solid. Both bumpers are smoothed with the front fiberglass and the rear is steel. No dents. No scratches. No cracks in the steering wheel . A beautiful dash and new under dash guages. Brakes and lines replaced as well as gas shocks. Replaced dual exhaust and tube headers. New carpet ,sill plates and custom Belair floor mats. Just a great ,turn key 55
