You are bidding on a 1948 Oldsmobile 4 door sedanette model 66. This is a super nice looking model because it has the extra small window behind the passenger door and the swept back roof line. My dad and I bought the project car and just ran out of time. The car has new brakes, a cleaned out gas tank and fuel lines, a 97 carb with adaptor plate and linkage, a nice running flathead 6 cylinder and a good shifting hydromatic. The car is very complete and needs very little to get back on the road. The car comes with some extra parts in the trunk inlcuding a spare tire white wall that has never been on the road. The car sits nice on all origianl suspension with white wall tires, beauty rings and small hub caps. The fuel pump on the car is not working. We set up an electric fuel pump and small gas tank and drove the car around my dads property. It doesnt run hot, smoke or have any strange habits. It actually runs very nice. Would be great to put the car back to it's glory days or it would make a reall bithin hot rod. The dash is very complete with clock and radio, deluxe steering wheel, heater, full gauges, and a cowl vent. It also comes with the orignal air cleaner. True miles on the car are unknown, the odometer shows 66500. The car is a 6 volt system and comes with a good 6 volt battery. The car has a few dents here and there and a little rust on the back edge of the front fenders, see pics. All the lights work as they should, as does the horn. It has aftermark ( from the same era ) turn signals. Other than that the car is very solid for a 1948 and has tons of style and character.
