pontiacxchange Store This auction is for a 2001 GMC Sierra 2500 Pickup Truck. This truck is powered by a 6.0L engine, and has an automatic transmission. The main problem with this truck is that it will not move in reverse, and also cannot be pushed in reverse in neutral, the tranny also has a bit of a whine in first and second gear. Sounds cool but not supposed to sound like that I'm sure. We have used it several times around town, and it shouldnt have any problems driving to your home provided that you dont need to go in reverse. I would probably trailer it home if it were me though till I figured out what the issue is. Looks pretty nice on the outside, interior is ok as well, though whomever painted it didnt do the greatest job as you will see on the inside of the bed. Tires are at about 50%.
