Vehicle Detail
You are bidding on a 1991 Saab 9000 turbo VIN YS3CL58M8M1003715 with 175308 miles (as of the day of listing, being driven daily). The car is Bright Red with Black Leather. The paint is Excellent with one scuff (see pictures) and two small rust spots over the passenger side rear wheel well (see pictures). Interior is Black Leather with a few seam splits (see pictures) that can be repaired, but no fading spots. The rear crash pads (seat belt coverings) were missing upon purchase. I have a replacement set which will go with the car. The steel sunroof works fine, but needs a new inside cover. The AM/FM/Cassette Deck works fine, the separate Equalizer works, but the CD stopped working. The interior lights don't work, but I think it's a fuse. The alloy rims are in Excellent Condition and the tires still have life in them. The car has a Rhode Island Inspection Sticker valid through June 2011. The car has no title since cars in Rhode Island 10+ years old don't receive them. You will receive a copy of my Rhode Island Registration (Proof of Ownership) and a Bill of Sale. The remaining 49 states accept that for re-registration. Mechanically there are a few issues. There is an Engine oil leak. I have been told it needs a new Oil Pan Gasket. It had both an Oil Change and Coolant Flush 3 months ago using Valvoline Synthetic Oil. I replaced the chain tensioner and driver's side ball joint 6 weeks ago. Just replaced the upper and lower radiator hoses. The A/C has a leak and does not blow cold. Included are the Owner's Manual, Radio Manual, Service Booklet and an envelope of service receipts from 2006-2009. Otherwise, the car runs like a bat out of hell. Put a thousand dollars into it and you've got a classic in a very rare color. If you have any questions, fell free to call me (401) 419-1619. If you have an offer to make me within 10% of the asking price I will probably accept it. Alternatively I will trade for a 1988-1991 Audi 80, 90, 100 or 200 as long as it runs and has a working A/C. A $ 300.00 PayPal deposit is required upon purchase and the balance is due within 5 business days upon pickup.
