Vehicle Detail

Very rare 1956 Chrysler New Yorker Town and Country station wagon. One of only 1070 produced. Has most options, including plaid interior (material available through SMS in Portland, Oregon area); power windows, power seat, town and country radio, Hemi engine. This car also has the optional factory wire wheels. Car was found sitting under a tree (along with three others) at a farm in Sacramento, California. It has very little rust, and would be an easy restoration. This wagon was sold new in California, according to the last owner. Color is Dark Green body with white roof. This wagon has the optional plaid interior and door panels. Transmission is power flite 2 speed automatic. Engine has been rebuilt, but has not yet been running. Date of rebuild is unknown. Rear flooring (wood and stainless rails with chrome hardware is in excellent condition. Several wood pieces have been remade. Extra windshield and gasket included in sale, as original windshield is cracked. Driver's door glass is also cracked, extra glass included. A number of parts are included with this vehicle upgrading the existing parts currently on the car. This car needs a complete restoration, but would be a stunning car at the end of the restoration. Reserve set to discourage engine "seekers".
