Vehicle Detail

1975 Honda Elsinore MR50 Photo's are worth a thousand words-motorcycle is original- complete-straight, with no missing or broken parts. Handlebars & controls are all original-throttle even has the speed limiter intact, OEM Handlebars were painted as the chrome was lightly rusted Gas tank has it's original paint- a few nicks & scratches-no dents, OEM gas cap & mixture decal Seat has it's original cover-has some very minor seam seperation (you can't tell in the photo's-it's that minor), aftermarket covers are easily available. Plastic fenders and number plates were replaced with RE-MX new reproduction units. Frame and swingarm were repainted. Chrome rims, hubs and engine bottom end are untouched-original. Tires are brand new IRC GS45F's. The OEM cylinder is still on the original STD bore and is in excellent shape, it has a Honda NOS piston and rings installed with zero time on them. The cylinder was painted with PJ1 gloss black 500 degree engine & case paint. The DG Performance head and exhaust pipe are in absolutely excellent shape. The suspension was upgraded with NEW (zero time on them-$450) WORKS Performance shocks which were designed specifically for the MR50 to maximize rear suspension travel without chain or swingarm issues. The front triple clamp was replaced with an aftermarket which lowers the stock MR50 forks 2 inches (raising the front end) to level the bike with the increased rear wheel travel. The bike has 2 inches more travel and sets 2" higher than stock. All this work was done in 2007 and the bike has been in storage since. It was the Honda MR50 featured on the front page of the Yahoo MR50 Group for over a year. A 250.00 deposit is due immediately after auction-the balance paid via check-money order etc. Bike does not go anywhere until funds clear my bank account. Cash is appropriate if you pick it up. I am willing to crate and ship worldwide, I have done this several times and use my fedex account and ship it in 2 crates (engine seperate). It is much easier and less expensive. I recently sent a YZ250 to the UK for less than $600 in total shipping. Shipping charges are NOT INCLUDED in auction price. I only charge the actual cost and they must be paid by the buyer via paypal. To answer a few questions regarding shipping: Domestic US shipping, the motorcycle stays intact, minus the handlebars are removed. You can easily re-assemble the handlebars, as you can for INT'L shipping, it is plug & play.On Aug-16-10 at 14:40:22 PDT, seller added the following information: *8/16/2010 A note to the rate quote to NC listed below, if delivery can be made to a (non-residential) commercial, business address, that quote is $84 less. On Aug-16-10 at 20:24:53 PDT, seller added the following information: Bidding is $164.00 from the the reserve, I'll knock $150 off the shipping total if bidding meets the reserve. That is world wide shipping, (minus) -$150.00
