Up for auction is a great running 2nd owner 1997 Mercedes E300 Diesel. This vehicle is very desirable and is known for is longevity. I have personally driven this vehicle 1000+ miles since I purchased. I am an avid Mercedes collector just downsizing a few vehicles to get a nice convertible. It runs and drives incredibly well. Has been completely checked by an authorized Mercedes repair shop (I have documentation on all recent repair work done) and had all items repaired that where found. Alternator, battery, all fuel lines from pump, transmission adapter plug, fuel shut off valve, front brake pads, rotors, sensor and completely checked all engine electronics. Paint still very glossy almost mirror like. All electronics work (windows, mirrors, seats, sun roof) and A/C blows cold. There are some typical dings and rock chips as expected of a 13 year old vehicle. There is a small dent in face of trunk (see photo). The interior is in good shape. Driver’s seat has a tear that is show in photo and small crack in dash but otherwise in good condition. I have all the books, remote key and valet key. On Aug-04-10 at 15:36:07 PDT, seller added the following information: Car had no water damage in the 2005 Katrina Flood and has a clear title. Mileage is actual miles, the state of Louisiana exempt's mileage after so many years. I purchased the car in March from original owner (someone i have know for over 8 years) and tilte was changed in June.
