Vehicle Detail

I am bored with my current project so I am auctioning it away. It is a near finished project and IS NOT ready to drive. This is truly one AWESOME truck! I will try to describe it the very best that I can because I dont want to leave anything out. If my description seems to jump around, its because I thought of something else. This is a 1917 Buick Rat Rod Truck, it has a clear title stating as such. The power comes from a 1971 Caddy 500 motor which has 426 HP stock and 525 ft.lbs. of torque. The car that donated it had 63,000 miles on it at the time. It has'nt been started for awhile but I have cranked it by hand a time or two about 6 months ago. The transmission is a GM Turbo 400. the front section is "85 S-10 as well as the rear end. The rest of the frame is 2x3 box. Air ride suspension sits at all four corners of this rod. it is a complete fbss system with high power compressor. Some of the lines still need ran for it as well as the pressure guages and switches mounted. I have the diagram showing how this is done. The rear end is set up with a 4-link system. The front is also rack and pinion. For tire/wheel combination it has brand new Firestone bias ply wide whites on the front and monster Firestone wide white cheater slicks on the rear. All are mounted on new smooth steel wheels, and are painted red as you can see in the photos. The exhaust is a set of straight through zoomie style headers. The radiator is a new aluminum radiator which is installed in the stainless grill shell with a high output electric fan. I have no headlights for the vehicle yet but the tail lights are 1960 Chrysler Imperial. The interior is completely bare at this time. I have 3/4" plywood for the floor. I recently purchased an original metal rusted dash form an early '20's GM vehicle which is on the way at this time. I have a Nordscog 6 guage digital dash panel that is also included and is brand new. The seats are from Speedway Racing , and are the light weight "bomber" style aluminum ones. I thought those would be perfect for this project. The top of the truck flips backward for easy entry, and is remote control. You should see the looks from company when I show them how you get in, .I also have a new in box 21 circuit easy wire style wiring kit from Speedway. I also have a brand new frame mount master cylinder with bracket and pedal, a 2 lb. residual pressure valve. a 10 lb. pressure valve, and an adjustable proportioning valve, all these items are new in box! I am interrested in finding an exotic kit car such as a laser or something, so thats why I am selling this. Maybe that will flip a switch for me. As far as I know , here is what is left to do before ready to drive: The torque converter needs bolted to the flywheel, it needs a shifter, the driveshaft needs to be welded at proper length, and needs universal joints. All the plumbing needs done, the wireing kit needs installed, the gas tank needs sealed where it was modified but caqn be done by a shop or at home with a kit from a local parts store. Obviously the interior needs completely done, and the steering column needs mounted. As far as the material for the inside, I have a small colection of berlap sacks that I was going to use. I know that I have left out something, but feel free to ask anything and I will answer promptly. Considering everything I have here, I am starting this auction out at $4000.00 which is very low. The buyer will be responsible for pick up of this vehicle. I also ask that a $500.00 deposit be paid immediately after the end of the auction. The balance must be paid in full by the time the vehicle is picked up. Unless it is agreed upon before the end of the auction, the winner will have 7 days from the end of the auction to pick up the vehicle, and the deposit is non refundable. So I ask that only serious bidders contact me. I appreciate your understanding in this matter. If you have any questions please contact me. Thanks for checking out my auction, and GOOD LUCK!!
