All of the correct Super Sport componetry is there and the drvetrain is as follows correct replacement 1968 dated 396 cubic inch motor rebuilt less then 2000 miles ago to stock 375 horsepower specifications, factory aluminum hi-rise intake with 780 holle carb, factory cast iron square port heads and fitted with Hooker Headers into a full dual exhuast system. Important engine numbers are as follows: Block casting numebr 3916323 stamp pad is T0103 EG denoting January built 396-375 horse motor, correct to go in a January or Febuary built car. This factory original 12 bolt rear end is fitted with a 3:31 posi differntial. The car was refinished in the original color of Marina Blue with a Black vinyl top and interior. Body fit and finish are very good, car has solid floors and a new trunk floor pan was replaced at time of restoration to correct rust damage. Interior is fair and mostly original but correct bucket seats do have an incorrect upholstery pattern for this model. A correct 4 speed factory console is fitted to the interior. Overall this real SS 4 speed car presents itself very well and runs out excellent. It is not a show car but will not be priced as such. 66&67 Chevelle Super Sports are getting extremely difficult to find and this car is the real deal. The odometer reads 55,475.
