Vehicle Detail

1969 Pontiac GTO In Great Condition This numbers matching classic comes with its PHS docs and independent inspection. The inspection is attached as jpegs. Feel free to request a more readable PDF copy of the incredibly detailed inspection (via email at phineasjgobo@yahoo.com) and I'll email it to you. Page one of the vehicle inspection report reads: "Overall impression of the car is its a a good vehicle. Has some some small problems here and there but should be easy quick fixes. Car runs and sounds great, the alignment is good and it has anew exhaust. Car is in Great Condition." I'll make the car available so you may test drive it and/or also arrange to have the car inspected anywhere in the Alameda, CA area before the end of the auction. Here's my own description. Again, check out the inspection report: - Green Interior/ - Verdoro Green Exterior. Both in (Both Int/exterior in B+ shape - see pictures & inspection) - Newer tires. - Automatic transmission, stock console shifter. - Numbers Matching (block casting 9790071 = 67 to 69 400 HP - (YS on front of block) - Engine rebuilt by previous owner. - Hideaway lights - Edelbrock Intake - Holley 750 DP - Hooker Headers - Front Wheel Disc Brakes - Power Steering - Power Brakes - 323 Posi Rear End - New Dual Flowmaster Exhaust - Newly re-built carburetor - New battery - Very little rust (previous home was Arizona) - VIN 242379Z125440 Flaws include (see inspection): - The radio doesn't work or isn't hooked up. It's modern, not original. - The volt meter doesn't work. Part of a non-stock oil pressure, water temp meter at low center just beyond shifter. - There's a crack in the dash. Just about every GTO has this crack. - A dime size hole in the lining interior. - Interior adjustment to driver's side mirror partially missing (the knob assembly, not the housing). - Some discoloration to trunk floor, but not dug in rust. - Some chips in paint on front bumper, left rear quarter panel (about the size of a quarter) and by the hood air scoop. - The window seals could use re-doing. - Some surface rust on the engine block. - Fairly dim headlights. - Fairly weak heater fan. - The glove box sticks. - Non stock cloth above back bench seat (under window) - Rear window chrome trim imperfectly attached, but complete. - Non-stock radio antenna, loose. - Scrape to right front chrome wheel piece over rally wheels. - Passenger side door requires pressing button under handle a bit more than ideal. - Left side passenger window sticks, but works. Feel free to email phineasjgobo@yahoo.com for a more readable pdf copy of the inspection report. You can also call me with questions, Mike, 510 864-1908. The reserve is a lot less than the Buy It Now. Feel free to ask questions and I’ll do my best to get you answers. Clear title, registration current. Runs great. Again, if you feel like you still need it, feel free to come by and test drive it and/or make an appointment with a mechanic in Alameda during the auction. Car sold as-is, where-is, without warranty either expressed or implied. So, check it out before bidding. Auction may end early as it's being marketed outside of ebay offline.
