Vehicle Detail
You are bidding on a 1995 Pontiac Firehawk. It is vehicle #335 from a very limited run of unbelievably fast and unreal performing Pontiac's that were upgraded by SLP in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. There were only 569 coupes built of which 170 were bright red automatics. Words can not describe hot quick this car is. The LT1 5.7 V8 is rated very conservatively at 315hp and rumors had it that SLP had to downplay the horsepower to avoid advertising a higher rating then the 95 Corvette. 400hp seems a bit better to me! At any rate, this car is a monster. The motor runs great and the automatic overdrive shifts equally well. 4 wheel cross drilled power disc brakes, traction control, heavy duty sway bars and stiff shocks and struts round out the chassis. The car sits on 275 40 17in ZR rated performance wheels and tires. The car has a very throaty exhaust tone at idle and really comes alive under power. Options also include true ram air hood, power windows, power locks, keyless entry with factory alarm, power radio antenna, premium sound system with CD, audio controls on wheel, tilt wheel, rear defrost, leather, power lumbar and side bolster on both seats, dual air bags, performance shift over ride button, aftermarket strut tower brace, power mirrors, ice cold a/c, excellent heater, Firehawk embroidered floor mats, and factory badging with car number. The body and paint on the car are in excellent condition for a 1995. There is a small area on the front bumper where it looks like someone might have backed into the car in a parking lot or something. See pics. It is only a cosmetic blem, nothing behind the bumper is damaged. The interior on the car is also in excellent condition for year and car with 100,000 miles on it. There is a small tear on the side of the drivers seat, also see pics. The tires on the car are average at best and will need replacing soon. The car is a little hard starting on cold mornings. The car doesn't run hot, smoke or leak any fluids. It is adult owned and maintained, never been smoked in and no pets inside. Car has had a fresh tune up and new brakes. It has a Optima battery that fires the car everytime. Everything on the car works as it should, all the power options work correctly, the a/c is ice cold, the stereo sounds great, steering, brakes, power windows, locks and power seats all work the way they should. The car is a 1995 and is by no means a show car, but the car has been loved and garage kept. Look at the pics and see for yourself. If you have the nerve to push the performance transmission shift override button and punch the throttle to the floor, get ready for the ride of a lifetime, car has unreal performance. Here is a chance to buy a very rare, nice optioned and color combination Firehawk. Very fun to drive and certainly something you don't see everyday. Car is selling as is where is, there are no warranties implied expressed or given. I have a clean and clear California title in hand, free of any and all liens. Car has current tags till March 2011 and comes with a valid CA smog, factory keys and manual. Please be ready to pay for and pick up car within 2 weeks of auction close. A $500 deposit will be required within 48 hours of auction end. If you want to fly into Sacramento and drive the car home, it will make it anywhere without any known issues....in a hurry! LOL. If you want to have the car transported, buyer to pay all transport fees but I can help in any other way that I can. Email with any questions and good luck!
