Most dealerships charge over $450 on top of the prep fees and Vehicle Inventory Tax which we find to be unfair. These are the only additional fees assessed to out-of-state buyers other than shipping, not a penny more!!! Texas residents pay 6.25% sales tax and a $115 title and license fee, a $40.75 inspection fee, which goes directly to the state for title transfers.
