This vehicle is consigned from a US Military Officer who is planning an overseas move, and offers this well maintained daily driver to the highest bidder at no reserve on this 5-day auction! The current first owner originally obtained this vehicle from a dealer who sold it after a 1-year lease period. This 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo features a 4.0 Liter, In-line 6 Cylinder engine with fuel injection, and automatic 3-spd Select Trak 4WD. This vehicle also includes A/C, Cruise Control, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Power Windows & Driver Seat adjust, Dual Front SRS Airbags, Roof Luggage Rack, factory rear and rear side window tint, factory aluminum alloy wheels, split fold-down rear seat back, and Factory AM/FM CD player. It is additionally outfit with Custom Rubber high-edge floor mats throughout (carpet is in very good condition) for extra protection, and includes installed tow package as shown with removable ball. We note it has averaged a bit less than 20K miles/year since obtained new by the current owner, but these are mostly highway miles earned during a series of moves inherent to a military lifestyle, and is currently a daily driver so may show a few hundred more miles at the time of purchase by the new owner. However, the vehicle has been well maintained, and is both cosmetically and mechanically in very good condition as a result. On close inspection, we do note the hood has an approximate 6" long 'bend dent' in front just above the grill based on a reported run-in with a wild turkey (the bird lost, sadly). It also shows minor surface scratching on the hood right side as well as some surface scratches along the passenger side resulting from run in's with shrubbery. These do not penetrate through to the metal. There is also a small dimple in the driver's side rear door. The interior is in good condition, no rips or tears in the cloth upholstery. The rear seat does show some visible staining as can be seen. There is also some vinyl scraping along the rear lift door interior panel as shown and normal to minor wear throughout as we've shown in the accompanying photos. We also understand this vehicle's driver side door was replace at one point due to a dent from a shopping card, which is reflected in this car's history report. Last service was approximately 3K miles ago, and included full fluid flush and replacement (P/S, Transmission, Brake fluid, Coolant, & Oil + filter), new air filters, plus injector cleaning, and A/C coolant check (all good). Hoses and belts are all in good condition with no rot or cracking. All electro-mechanical systems and indicator lights and signals are in good working order. The tires and shocks were replaced in early 2009; tires show plenty of wear left. Brake pads replaced in 2008, aproximately 18 months ago. The owner reports no fluid leaks currently evident. This vehicle is currently titled and registered in New York State (current location VA) brought here after aproximately a year in NY, through Feb 2011. Title is clear and in hand.
