Vehicle Detail

NO RESERVE!! 1969 Ford F-250 Ranger Camper Special. Purchased from the original owner. Documents come with vehicle as seen in pictures which include but aren’t limited to original owner card and original Washington State title. Truck was purchased 2/10/1969 from Boone Ford Sales, Inc in Olympia, WA and has been garaged in Washington State since. Though it is a Ranger Package, it came from the dealer with rubber floor mats as the original owner did not want carpet. He was an avid hunter and didn't like the idea of tracking dirt on top of carpet. I purchased the truck from the 93 year old original owner. He was meticulous with caring for the truck. He told me that the engine went through a complete overhaul at 100,000 miles and regular oil changes, belts and gaskets were maintained thereafter and it shows. Though he couldn't locate the receipts for the rebuild, it is apparent that the engine, transmission, and all mechanical components have been well cared for. The only component that isn't original (per original owner) is the carburetor which was replaced this past summer. One pump of the accelerator and a turn of the key fires the engine off with ease. It is equipped with single exhaust so time spent in the cab is quiet while out the rear still gives off that throaty 360 V8 sound. This Ford is a rare bird being it has zero rust that I could find. Drip rails, cab corners, undercarriage and bed are typical areas that have rust and as you can see in the photos, the truck has been kept out of the elements. There is a quarter sized ding on the RT bedside panel from a rock that was thrown from another vehicle's tire in 1976. The original owner kept the rock (complete with paint transfer on it) and put it in the glove box. That also comes with the sale. The truck is equipped with power steering, brakes, dual tanks receiver hitch, full-sized spare under the bed, am radio, houndstooth interior and fully functioning gauges and lamps. Even the jack is still strapped in where it should be under the hood. The heater works on all speeds, defrost and floor heat switch back and forth with ease. The floor vents open and close with the stroke of your index finger. Tires have plenty of tread on them. Color code is “z” which decodes as Federal Red. Please feel free to message me should you want additional photos of specific areas on the truck. I do not have a lift at my home but could crawl under it should you need any up close photos.
