PLEASE READ FULLY!! This is for a 1999 Volkswagen Passat GLS wagon. This is a rare 5 speed 1.8 turbo wagon.in Windsor blue with Black leather interior.The Original Paint is still nice and will shine up great.I do not see any rust.Most all miles are Highway.The Black leather interior is very good shape and there are NO funny smells or water leaks.The factory radio works when it wants to and the passenger power window regulator is bad.I have all the original paperwork including the original window sticker,owners manual and books.Tires are decent and the brakes are good. ***IMPORTANT** The car really runs good,the motor is tight and smooth,with NO noises,and it will get up and go,but there is a problem.It idles fine but surges between 1000 and 2000 rpms,kinda like a dead spot,that comes and goes.The code said it needed a new throttle body, so I bought a new one and replaced it and it made NO difference.Still doing the exact same thing and shows the same code still.I have been told it needs to be reset with a VAG tool??? The turbo works good,the clutch is good and the trans shifts smoothly.The car has been taken good care of.It is way too nice and rare to part out in my opinion.It can be fixed pretty easily if you have the right scanner.I cranked the car on 1-19-19 and let it run for awhile.It will need a battery and there is a gas return line leaking under the car by the tank.It was NOT leaking a month ago when I drove it back there.Maybe a chipmunk chewed it.Obviously,It will have to be towed or transported.You can also pick it up with a uhaul tow dolly also. I am starting the bidding off at a low starting price and I am offering a one time buy it now price.Once the first bid is placed the buy it now will be gone and the car will then sell to the Last,Highest bidder on ebay ONLY.
