Vehicle Detail
Never thought I would do this, but I am selling my beloved Disco. I bought this truck six or seven years ago needing a new motor. Since I owned a body shop with mechanics on staff I bought a remanned motor and put it in, oddly enough that motor had a tic so I pulled it and put in another. While swapping engines we basically replaced everything, cats, plugs, wires and whatever else I thought she needed. She still has a slight tic at times but nothing that has ever bothered me. Temp is always perfect and I have been very dilligent to her needs. I have owned countless Rovers over the years and know what they need to keep them happy. She has never let me down and I have put her through her paces. She has towed my small boats thousands of miles and has taken me as far as Key West. I kept her to give to my daughter for her birthday but her mom gave her a new car. We replaced the factory radio with a Kenwood with bluetooth and handsfree. All speakers were replaced with either JL or Hertz(stereo sounds great.) Factory wheels were painted by my shop. New Dick Cepek tires(15000 miles ago.) Tinted windows, Yakima roof rack and a bunch of stickers on the back all included(please keep them and add more.) As with all Rovers she has her quirks. Currently the brake light on the dash is on. She throws a CEL randomly because of the MAF and every once in a while the Three Amigos hop in the backs seat for a ride. Headliner on pass side is drooping a bit, the wheel flares are fading, small exhaust leak, she has a few dings(nothing much,) and my son backed into a bush and dinged the tailgate. She is an older Rover. Don't assume she is perfect. She is moody and needs to be spoiled, however if you are committed to embrace Land Rover ownership she will treat you well. Please see my other listing on my 50,000 mile L322
