By owner age 78 with title free and clear. No accidents . 156,000 miles Body: Except for the small damage to the drivers side rear fender well the body is perfect condition including bumpers however the paint is completely gone. Their is no rust anywhere that can be found on the car. Water seeps into trunk. Cannot open drivers and right rear doors (two of four doors) using the door handles because of linkage broken in door wells. Use of coat hanger to hook inside passenger door handle from rear door is necessary to open or entering passenger door and reaching over to pull lever while pushing door out. All doors will open from inside pulling their levers. Pine cones lodged in outside vent air area. Outside antenna broken. Trunks hydraulic lifts weak. Missing minor decal parts. Drivers harness not seat belt broken due to part broken or missing. Harness action and movement works. Interior: Completely shot with regards to the leather seats both front and rear.cracked and stained especially the drivers seat. Seats maintain their conformity without sag. Carpets are bad with drivers floor mat missing. Headliner is ruined. Rear window defroster fuse and relay removed. Dashboard is very good with all instruments,gauges reading accurately. Small piece missing from hi-low beam switch. Foot level fuse cover missing. Turn signal lever functions properly. Sunroof works no leaks. Electric windshield works. Electric door locks work however fuse removed. Brake, tail, headlights and high beams work. Electric windows work. Heater works. Inside lever missing to pull open trunk. Occasionally the check engine light may appear without any affect elsewhere. Steering is excellent with very little or no play and does not road wander. Has spare tire - jack in trunk. Brake light on dash intermittent at times due to shorted wire to brake pad sensor. Engine: Starts always immediately and runs extremely smooth always. Oil changed every 3,000 miles. Oil and temperature gauges always straight up center. Never stumbles, misses or vibrates upon immediate start up in cold weather including idle. Occasional once in awhile abrupt starter solenoid release noise for one second (upon disengagement from flywheel) and has been that way for 10 years without creating problems. No antifreeze or oil leaks. Air pump removed. Smog not required because of age. Tires in excellent condition with little wear and evenly worn not shown in pictures. Brake system fine with no leaks. Emergency brake works. Air conditioning not working due to leak and belt removed. BMW transmission shifts and runs smoothly with very clean ATF. Radiator fluid clean and green. Battery charges as normal. Transportation the stand-out feature. Their may be other minor issues.
