Vehicle Description For auction is a 2010 Toyota Prius III. It runs and drives 100%, has a current Virginia inspection, has all the options and is being sold with no reserve. The 1.8L four cylinder hybrid engine purrs along without a miss or fluid loss. The electric/gas engine is working perfectly. It charges and assists as required and the auto stop function engages when stopped. The automatic CVT transmission shifts smoothly without any hesitation. No issues with the brakes, steering or suspension. The exterior... is blue but is cosmetically challenged. It was repainted to the current color. The original color was dark blue. There are various scratches. See by the pictures the driver side has had inferior body work. Both rocker trim pieces are missing. The lights and lenses are clear and without any cracks. No windshield cracks but there is a chip in the lower center. The front tires look fairly new but the rear tires will need replacing soon. The roof has a solar panel and a sunroof. The interior is gray leather. The front seats are heated. The driver seat has the typical wear area. All the power items such as cruise control, windows, locks, side mirrors, etc. seem to work as normal. Options include, Bluetooth, navigation, back up camera, premium sound system with a CD changer, etc. There are steering wheel controls for most options. The odometer says 172394 but we think that is not correct and the car is being sold as such. The airbag light is on. Don't know why. The tire pressure light is on even though all tires are inflated properly. This is a nice project car for the body shop person. It is mechanically sound. Just needs a little TLC. There are no current mechanical problems and no indication of any impending issues. The new owner will be able to drive home with confidence.
