Listing this car for by Uncle. 1953 Cadillac Coupe. Runs and Drives great! 2 Tone Green. Original Colors and majority of the car is original paint. Paint is a little thin in spots simply because of its age. Reluctantly, it is time for him to let the car go. 68k original documented miles. 2 owner car. 331 with Hyrdomatic Trans. In the photo, the air cleaner is crooked, that is because the new battery (12v) is too tall and we do not want to risk damaging the air cleaner, a shorter battery would correct this, so it is not an issue. Numbers matching car unmolested. Hydraulic Power Windows (normally not on a coupe, was special order) Automatic Headlight Dimmer (also ordered special) and A Factory Power seat. Everything works including the radio. Original interior, which is in decent shape considering its age. Material is getting thin due to age. Carpet is the only real weak point of the interior. Headliner is like new. Very little rust. The only area of any rust is between the 1/4 and rear fender where they all collected dirt/mud. This was repaired over 30 years ago, and could use attention again. (see video) The rockers are NOT rusty. The photos show staining, that is paint damage from the power windows seeping fluid. Again, the rockers are NOT RUSTY. This car is about as original of a 'survivor' as you can find. Keep that in mind when looking at the photos/video. Runs and drives, shifts, and stops just like it should for a 53 Cadillac. Wide White Bias/ply tires that are good. Was at Back to the 50's this year in Minnesota. Car is in Sioux City Iowa 51106.
