If you looking for a survivor or bone stock Roadster, this is NOT the car for you. The previous owner started the mods on this Roadster with replacing the R16 with an L18 (including the 5 speed). I have continued with the following: - Champion Aluminum 3 row Radiator (will include original radiator in sale) - Thermostatically controlled electric fan - East Coast Electrics GM 1-wire style 70 amp alternator - 1 year old battery - Matchbox Electronic Ignition with new distributor and coil - Gear reduction starter - Volvo/Girling Front Brake conversion with cross drilled rotors - New rear axle bearings and seals - New rear brake cylinders and shoes - Cut-down "Buggy" bucket seats - Chrome wheels with Falken DT615’s - New drive shaft u-joints- New Fuel Pump - Sun Super-Tach with "No name" Gauge Package (Oil Pressure, Voltage, and Coolant Temp)The front bumper is wrinkled (spare front bumper will be included in sale). There is bubbled paint in front of the left rear tire well. The car looks good at 25 feet, however, contains many chips in the paint. One of the PO's repainted the roadster to British Racing Green, original color was light blue.NOTES: 1] Neither the odometer nor the Tach work, they were not working when I purchased the car. As a result, I have no idea what the mileage on the car is. 2] I have never had the Head off the engine so I have no idea as to internals (the engine does not burn oil - no appreciable oil used between changes). 3] I have the soft top and will include it in the sale, however, I have never had the soft top on the car and I cannot attest to condition. As you can see from photos, the car does include the removable hardtop. This Datsun Roadster is in Portland, Oregon.This car is mechanically sound and runs well having participated in the Shedd BBQ Run in August covering over 250 miles in one day with no issues.Please feel free to ask any questions, I will try to answer as quickly as I can.
