1967 Land Rover Series 2A / IIAUp for sale is my 1967 Land Rover Series IIA project. This is a unique rover project as it is a long wheel base, two door (military style) body, with a left hand drive configuration. Additionally this land rover is fitted with a Mercedes 4 cylinder diesel engine mated to the original Rover gearbox with a Mercedes/Rover bell housing adapter. The gearbox does have overdrive, making this setup a capable cruiser. CONDITION This Land Rover is in need of a total rebuild, and the vehicle is being sold as is, where is. The vehicle is currently considered to be in non running condition, although the Mercedes engine is free and seems that it should start easily. There is rust on the frame, likely rendering this for a frame swap, or outrigger work. Corrosion and other damage throughout, with some corrosion on the firewall. Vehicle has been sitting. Odometer reads 25,637, seller does not guarantee accuracy. The vehicle is an excellent base for a rebuild as it has the rare mercedes bell housing adapter, overdrive transmission, and clean Massachusetts title. The Series Rovers are gaining in popularity and value, and this your change to own an excellent base for a restoration at a very reasonable price.
