NO RESERVE! 5 Day Auction! 1955 Pontiac Star Chief 2 Door Hard Top. Complete car with the original 287 engine, automatic transmission, and power steering. Not road ready yet, but close. Engine runs and transmission seems to work as it should (driveway tested), Need gas tank cleaned or replaced and master cylinder. Car has new brakes, wheel cylinders, and lines installed. Nice Corvette rally wheels and new tires. The body is in awesome shape with the worst rust being in the front floor boards where you feet would rest (see pics). The rest of the floor all the way back to the rear is in good shape including the trunk area. Interior is original and complete except for the carpet and headliner. One half dollar or so size rust hole in the passenger side quarter panel. Stainless trim is in pretty good shape. Has old paint with great patina. I did clean off some of the black primer on the driver side fender and door exposing the white paint underneath to see how it would look....Awesome! (see pics).
