Mechanics Special! We are selling our Volvo as it is no longer needed (bought a new car). It needs work. It has a large crack across the the upper portion of the windshield. The engine starts and runs great. The transmission shifts good. No mechanical issues with drivetrain at all. There is a knock from the front end which is likey the swaybar bushings needing replacement. The tires are new but one of them has a bulge (see pics) The interior has some pieces replaced (rear seat bottom cushion, center console lid see pictures). The car is located in maryland and is deregistered. It will come with the Maryland title, free and clear. The car spent most of its life in California. There is no body rust at all. There is a small dent behind the gas flap. The battery may need to be replaced. The car comes with one key. Check out the video to see it start up and run (link below). A gopher got in the engine bay and started chewing the hood insulation. no engine or wiring damage from this. The center console does not fully operate (some buttons broken) the driver seat moves fine but its missing the MEM button. Both front seats are still fully adjustable. Buyer must pick up the vehicle or have it transported/towed unless you live in MD and are going to be registering the vehicle. If that is the case you will need to register it before pickup and put the plates on it. BE ADVISED In its current condition it will not pass the Maryland safety inspection. Windshield and buldged tire will need to be replaced in order to pass. The previous shop also stated that the front struts were "leaking" and needed to be replaced. Again there is no rust and i do not think the front struts are bad, just the sway bar bushings causing the knock sound. If you win the auction the car will come with:-one key (the spring function is broken, still operates as key just fine)-the car itself (has 3/4 tank of gas and the battery will be charged but may need replacement--last replaced 2014) If you have any questions, please ask me prior to purchase.
