Vehicle Detail
This car has been stripped down for paint and bodywork. Some bodywork needs to be completed on the left quarter panel. The rear floorboards are rusted through but the front ones are in great shape as the car came out of a shed where the rear was sticking out. There are several pin holes in the quarter panels and the trunk pan is crusty but not rusted through. This car was incomplete when I got it but I have gathered all the parts, pieces and trim for it. The 428 runs good and the transmission goes into gear with no problems. This is a factory disk brake car and the brakes do work. It has the proper Kelsey-Hayes wheels for the discs and these are really difficult to find. I would tell your shipper that it is a non-running vehicle as there is an electrical loom problem where it goes under the radiator, it has been crushed. There are no frame issues that I can see with this car. This is an as-is auction with no reserve so the top bidder will get the car. Shipping to the east coast runs about $1100 through U-Ship. Response to question: Let's see. I have the front bumper (straight, no dings), grille ( very straight with park lamps, no grille emblem), the hood is sitting on the roof bows at this time (includes the front letters), I have all the dash pieces except the glove box emblem. I have the front fender emblems, all the wheel opening moldings, the rocker moldings (very straight), the trunk spear with the 7 litre emblem (hard to find), two or more sets of tail lamps, rear bumper (straight, no dings), both front seats and rear seat (need reupholstering). I have a full set of quarter panel letters with the "500" emblems, half a dozen hub caps, all the belt moldings and rear surround molding. I have the door panels, rear quarter inner panels, all the seat belts, both kick panels and what's left of the plastic moldings at the back of the front door openings. Also included is another top pump and good lines with lift cylinders. There is an extra instrument cluster and the wood trim panel at the bottom of the dash. The lower quarter moldings are included and are straight. I have two sets of front door vent wings as well as all the replacement side glass needed. So, I think I have everything, some multiples needed to complete the car other than the grille emblem and the glove box emblem. Please let me know if you need anything further.
