Vehicle Detail
Please note: do not bid unless you are a serious buyer! I just had someone buy this truck here on ebay and then they did not pay! So, please be sure you want to buy before you bid!!! Also feel free to ask any questions before you bid! For sale is a 2011 Ford pickup; very low mileage of just over 30,000 miles!!! 4 wheel drive, long bed crew cab, automatic transmission, 6.2 liter gasoline engine... a great farm truck or work truck with 8 foot long bed. Easily put a full 4 by 8 sheet of plywood in the back with the tailgate closed. I bought this truck just over a year ago and i immediately had the transmission serviced and had my mechanic replace the rear end pinion seal, which had a slow drip in it...he also replaced the EVAP canister (fuel tank vent system). Fuel mileage isn't bad, i have calculated it several times and got around 14 mpg. Does not have electric windows or door locks. Tires are new (still have the rubber nipples on surface tread they are so new)...they were put on truck on August 1st 2018. BF GOODRICH Mud terrain tires. The front end has also had an alignment... BODY MOUNT BUSHINGS ARE ALL BEING REPLACED THIS WEEK BY MY MECHANIC, so new owner will have a full set of 8 new body mount bushings!! This was a well taken care of government fleet truck and i bought it at auction and am second owner. Have owned it for less than a year and it is just too big for what i wanted... my hunting land has many narrow roads and it is difficult for me to turn around in those situations. Guess i just got used to my old 93 toyota pickup that i finally sold last year so i need to get another toyota...Here are all the negatives on this truck: Has light scratches and small dings on the body from use. Has a heavy scratch on the passenger side and another on the drivers side... both are shown in the photos. The tailgate cap is missing, but it wasn't something that impacted the function of the tailgate so i haven't replaced it. Also, the gas gauge float seems to sometimes get stuck and after you fill her up sometimes she shows full and sometimes she only shows a bit over half a tank but no more gas will fit in the tank, so she is full. The digital gas mileage gauge that shows how many miles you have left in the tank works fine, so i haven't bothered to fix it. If you are interested in this truck I have no problem taking the vehicle to a local (to Opelika/Auburn) mechanic of your choice at YOUR expense (to be prepaid by you). Most mechanics around here charge around $50 to $75 to do a purchase inspection. I will not recommend anyone because I want the inspection to be considered completely unbiased. I also prefer a buyer coming to take a look at the vehicle and doing a test drive as opposed to buying from afar and having it shipped. I have sold one vehicle that was sold and shipped without test driving and buyer was very happy but it makes me nervous if the buyer does not test drive personally. Buyer responsible for pick up or making shipping arrangements at buyers expense. If you want more info, then contact me by phone or text... 334 321 7558. Deposit of $200 must be made within 48 hours with paypal.
