Vehicle Detail

Hello, You are bidding on a rare 1988 Ford Mustang GT with T-Tops! This car was produced by Ford for only 1 full year, in 1987 and part of 1988, making the 1988 model more scarce then the 1987 model. This is an original 88 Ford manufactured T-Top model, not a modified version with the T-Tops added (I have the Marti Report to confirm this) that will go to the buyer of this car. The Car is over 30 years old, and isn't a show car however its fully drivable with functioning headlights, wipers, horn, heat, defroster, etc. The title is clean!,There are some areas that needs to be addressed, such as there's a small oil leak from the rear main seal, the overdrive band needs to be replaced, the interior needs some attention, and I noticed that the car smokes sometimes from the exhaust. The smoke appears to be White/Gray in color, and smells more like fuel, it's definitely not oil. I've put a good amount of money into this vehicle since I've owned it, I had the Main CPU replaced & the harness rewired, I had a new gas tank put in, along with the fuel pump & rails, new shocks & struts, starter, alternator, etc. The only modifications that I did to the car was replace the exhaust with Flowmaster American Thunder Cat Back Exhaust. The rest of the engine is bone stock. On Sep-22-18 at 14:12:24 PDT, seller added the following information: Hello, I know it's a bit late, but I've upload some pic of the strut towers & the engine bay. I've received a few questions about those areas, also the floor board underneath the car is in decent shape with some rust, but definitely not rotted through... The car is over 30 years old. Now for the T's. for the 6 years that I've owned the car T-Tops never leaked. ***** UPDATE**** Today when I went to take some additional pics of the car , I went to start the car and it was dead, I gave it a boast & it started right up, I haven't driven the car for about 1 1/2 months. I tested the battery with a volt meter, and sure enough battery was dead, I don't know if it can be recharged or it needs a new battery. I recommend getting a new battery, and not taking a chance driving the vehicle with the old battery, Also I would recommend not driving the vehicle for an extended amount of miles/hours until its thoroughly inspected by a mechanic. I used the car primarily for local driving, I've never drove it more than 75 miles per trip, I'm not saying it won't make it further then that. Last thing, there was a slight fender bender on the passenger side rear quarter panel that was repaired & painted. I was taking my son to school one morning when this lady decided to open her door as I was driving down the street, the damage was minor and she paid for all repairs. If there's any other questions or concern feel free to ask. I hope I provided some clarity for some of the questions/concerns out there. Thank You!Julius
