For sale is my 1999 BMW M3 Coupe, enthusiast owned by long-time BMWCCA member. I have loved this car so much that I owned it twice...but these days I don't have enough time to use it to justify owning it. It was one of the last e36 M3s built, having landed in the US in March of 1999, shortly before the end of the production run. I bought this car in 2003 with 79,743 miles on it and was the 3rd owner. It was bone stock and modified it to improve performance, sound, and handling but retained the stock look. I sold the car in January of 2009 at 163,150 miles. In August 2015 I tracked the owner down and bought it back at approx 183,000 miles. I tracked it back down because it was the best running and shifting car I have ever had (e30 M3, another e36 M3, 2 x e46 M3, e60 M5, 996 C4S, Maserati Spyder GT, Ferrari 360 Spider, etc.). The combination of the ECIS cold air intake, Conforti shark injector, Eisenmann exhaust is just perfect. The UUC short shift kit combined with the clutch pick-up point is just perfect. Everything about driving and shifting this car is great. I remain in contact with the buyer who owned it between my ownership periods. I have the vast majority of service records from 2003 to current. Overall condition of the car is very good but not perfect. It is still a 19-year old car with 186k miles on it so there are rattles and imperfections here and there. It does look and drive great.
