1973 Toyota FJ 40 Land Cruiser. F Type inline Six with 4-speed manual gearbox. Recently brought to the USA from My home in Costa Rica. This FJ40 Runs great and looks awesome. I have owned her For 9 years. She is now registered in Louisiana Clear Title. She was repainted about 2 yrs ago. Any rust found was repaired. I recently replaced the Radiator and had a valve job performed. The Brakes are new. The engine was completely rebuilt when I bought her. We went thru her from bumper to bumper. Anything questionable was replaced. This has been my personal Beach and Surf Vehicle. She has been garaged kept at my home in a small town in Costa Rica, so I did not put many miles on her. Occasionally we would head south towards Panama for a surf trip. She runs great in the HWY or in the backcountry through whatever you can throw her way. I have approximately 10,000 miles since the complete restoration and overhaul. The body is in great shape. No signs of rust in the usual places. You could drive this FJ 40 from coast to coast with no concerns. This is a clean unit but not a Trailer Queen. She could easily be made into a perfect unit if someone wanted to do a full restoration.
