2006 BMW K-Series

purchased earlier this summer from the second owner after he suffered an eye injury. has been sitting under cover for 2+ years. does not run. Battery was dead when i picked it up so i put it on life support and tried to fire the beast up. motor turned over, all lights and gauges worked. started puking fuel from what i assume was one of the notoriously brittle quick release fuel line fittings (at least the fuel pump was working) and arranged a visit to the local BMW dealership to get it back on its feet. maybe the bike has a jinx associated with it because i was recently diagnosed with glaucoma and my riding days are behind me after 47 years. it rolls, stops, shifts through the gears, clutch engages and as previously mentioned motor turns over and all electrics work. new Michelin Pilot Road 4 installed right before the p.o. stopped riding, still soft with no deterioration. hard bags, navigation and BMW tank bag (not pictured) included.the bike sat outside under a cover after it was parked and their is some corrosion on fasteners as seen in the pictures, plus a cat appears to have gotten to the seat cover. also some small drops of tree sap, small chips, and fading on the hand control symbols. all shown in pictures. no signs of crash damage nor evidence of leaks.clear title. one master key and one saddlebag key. please message me for any questions or additional photos. thanks
