This Defender 110 County Station Wagon(with sunroof, original carpeting, side panel trim)was imported from the UK and cleared US customs with no issues recently. It is registered in Vermont and will be sold with a Vermont transferable registration and Vermont bill of sale, this can be exchanged for a title by the buyer in any state as the local DMV will recognize that Vermont does not issue titles for vehicles over 15 years old. The pictures were taken on a very cloudy day so I have tried my best to edit them to make them brighter. Some of the pics will look unnatural because of this but they are better than posting dark pictures. It is a one owner from new Defender 110 CSW RHD 200TDI, the person I bought it from had purchased it brand new in 1991. It runs and drives well, better than any I have imported in the past. It had a current MOT (UK road worthiness certificate) at the time of import and the MOT should still be valid. This can be verified at the DVLA site using the number plate in the pics. It does have age related scratches, nicks and one dent in the front left wing worth mentioning. There is bubbling on doors as is typical for aluminum door skins on steel frames. All door bottoms need some repair aside from the rear door which looks good. The middle doors look worse than the front, see pics. Color is the desirable Arles Blue. One bulkhead corner shows signs of repair, see pic. Footwells have been patched but they are all metal patches and solid as can be seen in pictures. Chassis looks good. Paint is faded, could be buffed out but it does have scratches and chips etc along with the door aluminum bubbling. Dash is pretty clean, it has nicer upgraded second row seating. Interior is in good shape for age though headliner is sagging a bit, a few trim panels and one door card has scuffing. Basically the body is totally original aside from the bulkhead corner repair, few touch up areas and door bottoms which show previous repairs but will need repaired again. Mechanically it's in pretty good shape for age as can be seen from the list of work done in the last 15 years and the fact that it had a UK MOT at time of import (which was just 2 months ago and the MOT is still valid, may be checked on the DVLA site). So it's a non molested, one owner from new and maintained at the same shop for 15 years. Please note it is a RHD vehicle. It is registered in Vermont, Vermont does not title vehicles over 15 years old so this will be sold with a Vermont transferable registration along with a Vermont bill of sale. This registration can be exchanged for a title in any state by the buyer. Customs clearance documents will also be provided for buyer records. Shipping available anywhere at buyer's cost.
