For sale is a 57 FX3 Austin Taxi, right hand drive, 4 cyl diesel engine. There are not many of these in the US. It is complete, Needs Complete Restoration would make a hell of a rat rod, but I don't have time for all these projects. Have not tried anything with engine as I know nothing about diesels, but would probably run. Rolls nicely and tires will stay up. Complete car. No, the door is not missing, it's built that way. Has meter, rate schedule, fold down seat in back for extra passengers.The FX3 was a popular model. Out of a combined production total of 12,435 [8] FX3 and FL1 models, 7,267[9] were licensed in London between 1948 and the end of production in 1958.
