Vehicle Detail

I picked up this Sabre because it was in such great condition. Its like a real barn find! 22,000 miles and it looks great. The bike's paint is good and the color of the decals is surprisingly good. Its got the real Hondaline fairings installed. The previous owner liked it enough to put $1400 in service into it, and then he bought new tires too. I have a detailed receipt for all the service work, see the pictures. 9/2014: new battery new starter solenoid and wiring carbs full service, replace all gaskets, sync new carb boots new O-rings on all rigid coolant pipes new O-rings on thermostat housing and pipes new O-rings on water pump new clutch rod seals rebuild clutch slave cylinder new fork seals and polish fork tubes service front and rear brake calipers and pistons oil change coolant change fork oil change brake fluid change A year or two later: new tires 4/2018: Nault's (Honda dealer, Manchester NH) inspected the cams. They said "light wear." 5/2018: Found a real Honda engine guard... NEW OLD STOCK. What a find! New stator and voltage regulator The bike also has an aftermarket fork clamp installed (the thing under the triple tree.) Its a SuperBrace part no 2246. It also has a set of Gearz Canada saddlebags and tank bag. All the fairings are there, including the smaller side panels, as shown in the middle pictures. I put new rubber gaskets on them so they don't come off at speed. The left side lower fairing piece (the part with the air louvres) has some repaired damage at the top. These lower pieces don't have anything attaching them at the bottom to the bike. According to the manual (which came with the bike) its the "leg shield bracket." So rather than risk any more damage I've been running the bike without the leg shields installed. That reminds me, the engine guard I found didn't come with any mounting brackets so I had to fab some up. They're unattractive but functional and as a bonus they relocate the horns to a much nicer position (I think.) Finally, it looks like the right side of the brake light was cracked and has been repaired. The bike also comes with a cover (which wasn't cheap!) I was using the bike to commute for a couple months. Runs great. Clear power difference putting 93 octane in it. Sure makes a great sound at 4000-5000 RPM. I was tempted to have it dynoed but I really don't want to wind it out to redline. As I said its in such great shape I really thought a V4 enthusiast should own this and take care of it. If the buyer offers the full Buy It Now price I will gladly assist in having the bike shipped (if needed.) I have a trailer with motorcycle chocks installed and I can deliver the bike to the shipper. If you are a fan of classic racing bikes or you're an enthusiast of V4 engines this is one you should seriously consider. You will not find a cleaner bike without paying a premium for a fully restored one. Thank you for looking.
