Up for a No Reserve auction is this 1998 Jeep Wrangler with low miles. It has been gently used and well-maintained. The engine, manual transmission, and 4WD all work without problems. I am aware of no noteworthy mechanical flaws. It runs smoothly and is a reliable car. The body is overall in really nice condition. No accidents. We bought this Jeep from an older couple, and for our part, my wife mainly used this as a extra "weekend" vehicle. We never beat up on this Jeep with harsh off-roading, mudding, etc. We promptly took it to the shop for any repairs as necessary. We had installed a newer water pump, alternator, shocks, radiator, heater core, evaporator core, etc. - with service records. We took this vehicle vacationing to North Carolina without hesitation. We are sad to see it go but don't have the time to enjoy it as much as it should be. Please note:It comes with both a hard top and soft top. The hard top has a small chip (see pic). This doesn't cause leakage or otherwise any problems. I have the piece which needs to be melded back on, I just never got around to it. The soft top is in decent condition, but there is 1 or 2 spots where the stitching could be repaired (see pic).Installed is a 2 year old Curt class 3 hitch (4,000 lbs.). It is also wired up (4-pin) to pull a trailer.Various parts are included which may come in handy (see pic)An extra set of stock wheels are included in case you want to run a second set tires for winter or off-roading or whatever (see pic)NJ inspection through 10/2018.Rear sound bar with dome lights installed.Also be aware:The A/C does not workThere is no body rust on this vehicle, except for 1) under the passenger's side door there WAS a small area that had rust which was unrepairable. You can see I cut it out with the plan to patch and install diamond plate side rocker panels (rocker panels shown in picture and included with vehicle). I never got around to this, but please be aware. 2) The driver's side floor pan is thoroughly rusted through. I bought a pair of floor pans (shown in picture and included with vehicle) again with the plan of cutting out the old and replacing with the new, but again never got around to this project.This posting represents my fairest description of the vehicle as my goal is to be as accurate and thorough as possible.
