Our Current ListingsAbout CABS Classics 1973 Plymouth Roadrunner H-Code 340 Just the Facts I'm proud to offer for your consideration this real H Code 340 Plymouth RoadRunner. This is a personally owned vehicle, not a brokered car like the majority of our auctions. Actual H Code 340's don't come around often, with just 5,384 produced. The 340 engine is from the 68/69 era and is freshly built with X heads, headman 78050 headers, performer RPM manifold, and a new dual feed Demon 750cfm Holley 4160 double pumper carb. Ask any Mopar guy about the 340, many believe it was one of the best engines Chrysler ever made. The rest of the drive train and car is believed to be original. This car runs great and you can be confident taking it anywhere. Recent upgrades - new transmission pan gasket and filter, and new transmission fill tube seal. New lower radiator hose and fan belt. New upper and lower ball joints. New battery. Oil was just changed with Valvoline VR1 racing oil. The Roadrunner just received a fresh base and clear coat, with code K-6 Autumn bronze poly paint, the correct factory color. Also all new reflective white roadrunner decal kit. Front section of right side rear quarter was replaced with new sheet metal. It looks like the driver's side rear quarter panel was replaced before. The interior is believed to be all original and is in excellent condition with new foam and upholstery on the front bucket seats. Headliner is in good shape with just one small tear. All the old exhaust is gone and replaced with Series 40 Flowmasters and Flowmaster 15806 muffler back tailpipes. Pipe was also replaced between headers and mufflers, all 2.5 inch now. Factory Pypes 304 stainless steel red slotted round angle cut exhaust tips finish off the exhaust. The car has an 8 3/4 rear axle with "489" carrier and a 3.55/1 gear ratio. Cam is a Comp Cams 20-232-4 Hydraulic flat tappet. Engine has ACC super stock spiral yellow plug wires. The car has a lot of records from previous owner. The fender tag is decoded so if you want me to send that to you just drop me a message. A few flaws - factory radio you can barely hear. Someone put some pioneer speakers in the car so must have planned on putting a decent radio in it. Trim is loose at lower right corner of back window. Trim also not perfect over right rear tire. There are just a couple rust bubbles on right side rear quarter at very rear of panel. The guy who painted the car and replaced the front half of this panel with new sheet metal was supposed to fix this but didn't. Drivers side door window has a couple small chips in it from hitting the rattle guard when shutting. I try to give cars I auction complete and detailed descriptions. Our cars are always available for inspection by yourself or a third party. If you have a question please ask before purchasing the car. You'll always get full honest answers which eliminates any possible issues after the sale. I reserve the right to end the auction at anytime if an offer is accepted so be sure to let your interest be known early if you want to own this rare H code 340 Roadrunner.
