Interior (7/10): The interior of the car was updated to a set from a 2006 M3 coupe (-$1,000). This means that the front seats now get all the features: power, lumbar, heat, lumbar support and inflatable side bolsters, plus the ski pass through on the rear seats. The seats look brand new in the rear and have minimal wear in the front. All electronics (sliders, seat heaters, bolsters, lumbar, etc.) work flawlessly. The headliner and all pillars have no sagging fabric. Modifications: The interior trim has been sprayed with a metallic graphite paint that also extends to the steering wheel trim & paddles Custom programming of the MSS54 DME (window roll up, alarm activation, high/low beam, corner light disable, etc.) Issues: The sunroof shade clips are broken (common issue), so I disconnected the motor since I don’t use it anyway. Exterior (8/10): The exterior of the car is in a respectable shape considering it's age. Throughout my ownership, it mostly sat under a Bavarian Auto Ultimate Car Cover which I replace every three years for good practice (-$200). To add, the exterior is washed once a month during the summer, waxed once at the beginning of the season and the underbody is washed before winter storage. All exterior electronics function correctly and there is minimal pitting on the headlights. Modifications: Bimmian driver’s door key delete -$30 New front kidney grills and I will include the paint matched ones $-50 Red tinted tail lamps -$20 Facelift inner tail lamps -$100 Issues: Rear bumper has visible damage in two places. 1. Near the two hook cover from the cars only time being towed since I didn't want the driver to tie down the car by the control arms as that usually bends the arms and 2. At the lower center, from what seems to be like typical NYC license plates bumps. Wheels (8/10): The wheels have some curb rash from their previous owner. Appearances aside, they've got brand new Continental tires (-$750), were Hunter Road-Force balanced (-$120) and have been filled with nitrogen in them. Brakes/Suspension (9/10): The suspension on this car was built for serious competition usage and includes over $6,000 in parts (excluding labor). The rod bearings have been replaced by BMW under the recall back in 2005, plus I have a pile of maintenance records, receipts and DIYs that I can include for the buyer.
