Up for auction is this sharp looking 2008 Mini cooper s turbo coupe. This vehicle is powered by a 1.6L 4 cyl turbo mated to a smooth shifting 6 speed manual transmission. This vehicle starts right up with issues smoke or noises. The exterior is nice and clean with no major dings dents or scratches. The interior is leather with no worn or torn leather, just normal wear and tear. This is really a nice car inside and out. Wheels are in nice condition, tires are like new, however does have a low tire pressure light on. The center cluster shows brake pad warning. This car does have two minor issues. First is the crankshaft seal is leaking oil, very common problem. Also the engine has a bad knock sensor which needs to be replaced, which is causing a reduced engine power. Both issues are very well known with many mini coopers. There is no noises or knocks, its just a bad sensor not reading causing the reduced power. This is a perfect car for a handy or mechanically inclined person and have a nice car for a reduced price. You can probably have the vehicle back to running perfect with no oil leaks in a night or two. This is a no reserve auction so the high bidder wins a beautiful cooper s.
