1940’s style belly tank racer built from WW2 era 300 gallon Corsair long range fuel tank. Powered by 1952 Ford flathead v8 with a single rebuilt Stromberg 97 carb and custom headers. 1940 side shift transmission cable actuated by 2 aircraft style shifters . 1941 Mercury rear end with rebuilt 39 ford brakes . Rear brakes only. Car has four new firestone bias ply tires. 36 ford front axle and spindles hung on a 27 model T front spring. Steering is a dragster style steering rack. It steers like a dragster and not a road car . Seat is from a 1960’s drag car . This was not built to be a street car and will not pass any DOT inspection. It was built to be raced at The Race Of Gentlemen 2018 and did so. It is for exhibition only. The car will be sold with Bill of sale only no title . No warranty, no returns excepted.
