Vehicle Detail
The Valkyrie takes the legendary Goldwing 6 cylinder engine and makes it a giant showpiece. This bike is a head turner - "is that a Harley???", "is that a six cylinder???", "that's a huge engine!" I use it for going long distances while towing a trailer. I've added a 5 gallon fuel cell with quick-disconnect racing fittings. Because doing 75 mph with a 300 lb trailer really hits your fuel economy. I also use the bike for commuting. Its remarkably easy to maneuver because the center of gravity is a foot lower than a full-dress V twin. This bike is in excellent condition. No dents, no rust, good chrome. I am the second owner. The first owner had it for 10 years and took ridiculously good care of it. He had receipts for everything, like a dozen receipts for oil changes, done by the dealership, every 2500 miles. Mods I have done: 4 degree timing advance "trigger wheel." Now when you put high-test gas in it the engine really hauls. It was like adding a turbo. All the trips I used with my trailer I never even knew it was there. Memphis Shades batwing fairing and 7" windscreen. 4" Harley-style handlebar risers. The trailer hitch setup is a professionally engineered aftermarket product all stainless steel and follows the curves of the rear fender. The trailer electrical is an isolating unit with its own power supply. The secondary AIR system is removed. The carbs and airbox are stock. The tires are good, around 50% life left. High power LED headlamp in front and 16" brake and signal LED strip in back. The bike also has rigid, locking leather saddlebags with quick-release attachment points.
