Vehicle Detail

2004 Chevy Silverado SS awd 296,375 miles K&N cold air intake Magnaflow cat-back exhaustXenon Headlights Rebuilt Transmission at 276,612 with upgraded clutches/servos. Dash cluster rebuilt, stepper motors replaced. Known Issues Exterior- The paint is worn out in places, has scratches, dings. The passenger door cladding is damaged. I have the replacement that needs to be painted. The passenger cab corner cladding is cracked. Right side view mirror has a crack in it, turn signal in mirror still works. Front bumper could use some aligning. Right rocker has some rust. (see pics) Interior- Passenger power door lock stopped working/makes noise. The switch panel is also loose in the armrest. Headliner sagging. Drivers rear door has to be opened from the inside handle. The handle on the jamb doesn’t work. The dash has an alert for the passenger airbag. I was told it’s a sensor in the front bumper. Carpet, seats, steering wheel, buttons show signs of wear. (see pics) Mechanically- Transfer case has a leak from the rear seal and where it meets the transmission. The front axle is starting to hum. The diff fluid was changed recently and the old fluid didn't look that bad. The hum didn't really change with the new fluid. Possibly just a hub bearing but I would consider a rebuild. I purchased this truck in Nov. 2013 with about 273,000 miles on it. I was told the transfer case was rebuilt around 250,000 miles but I can't confirm it. Besides having the transmission and dash cluster rebuilt, I've only had to do the basics like brake pads and a synthetic oil change at the start of every year. I intended to clean it up, then I got something else that's taking all my time and attention. I hung on to the SS because I liked it and hoped to get to it eventually but now it’s getting in the way. Engine runs good. Tires still have some life left in them. I was hoping to break 300,000 with it but it's hardly driven anymore, (only two times this year.) It needs work, but it’s a true SS, which holds value over a clone. Make a track truck, shop truck, repaint it, vinyl wrap it, do a 2wd conversion….Plenty of choices. Rebuild it how you want. Or drive it as is and part it out down the road. The SS parts will always hold value. Unfortunately, I don’t have the time to give it the attention it needs and hardly drive it so it’s time to go. I’m available to show the truck if you’re local or if you want to send someone to take a look. Feel free to contact me with any questions, if you want more pictures etc. I had to collage some pictures in order to get as many on as I could. I can send more if needed. Vehicle sold as is.
