Never hit, never heated; this is a perfect car for restoration. The body is excellent and there is no rot of any kind. Mostly garaged its entire life. I have been a BMW fanatic for most of my life. I have owned sixteen Beemers, mostly 5s, 7s and two 850s. At 68 years old, I am not going to restore this car but, it does not smoke, leak or burn oil. I put an M5 badge on the car but, IT IS NOT AN M5. It just runs like one. The car has some small issues. I would have no trouble leaving for New York in it within an hour. On the highway, she gets 22mpg-25mpg, depending on speed. Transmission was just serviced and they said "no metal...amazing...looks perfect". Brand new battery under rear seat. I could deliver the car within 500 of 86305, for $250.
