Factory 1971 Mach One , Q Code Car … Is the only documented original 4 speed car in Pewter with factory air, 1 of 1 ! I have the Marti report to back it up . This car Is and was always in Southern California , I purchase it from a friend as a project car and have decided that the 30k that Ive put into it is all I can afford to spend , it still needs paint and carpet and some minor things to be perfect. The car is amazingly strait with 0 rust ,, NONE ! Here are the details ….. Motor is a correct 1971. 429 Super Cobra Jet Motor . My buddy had this 429 SCJ motor sitting in his garage for over 25 years, The engine was original miles ,never, ever rebuilt .. After prying the engine out of his cold hands with some hard cash , I did some research along with a my engine builder and our approach was simple but powerful , effective but highly reliable , most of all and best , a horse power to torque ratio that even had the dyno shop shaking their heads. This engine has an amazing 490 HP and 460 LBS of Torque at 5600 RPM, I have all Dyno Sheets .. Needless to say the car is fast and pulls like a NASCAR all the way through the gears . A brand NEW Modern Drive Line T-5 transmission , that was specifically ordered for this car and more important for this exact motor . Engine Specs , 429 CI SCJ .30 over , The bottom end is bone stock all original parts, everything except the rebuild kit, bearings and gaskets. The Top End ; Edelbrock Heads 429 race spec, Aluminum. Edelbrock RPM Air Gap Manifold, Aluminum Holley Carburetor, Via Verbansic Racing Mods (Carb was tuned and jetted on the Dyno at Verbansic Racing) in southern CA . Crane Roller Rockers Custom Grind Roller Camshaft.. So smooth and powerful .. It is truly magic and the heart of this build ! MSD Ignition Brakes Tires Fuel Tank Battery Radiator Oil Pan .. Here is the Kicker on this deal !! Read ,,, I have The original parts that were on the 429 SCJ , Heads ! Valve Covers ! Intake Manifold ! Harmonic Balancer, I also Have the Original Top Loader transmission and My buddy gave me another top loader , one that he had in his garage, One long spline and One short spline.. Everything comes with the car, Shipping will be on you ! So much on this build , as it is . Everything was done correctly . Things left to do …..Paint , Carpet Kit , turn signals need work , speedometer is noisy , gear ? Complete the A/C hoses, Install a posi rear end. Depending on how perfect you want this ride.
