Vehicle Detail

That the dawn of motoring took place in France is a fact where not many of us are familiar with. Pioneer manufacturer AutoMoto built robust sporty machines powered by proprietory engines from Blackburne, Chaise, Zurcher, JAP and Villiers, and after WWII mainly French AMC 125 & 250cc OHV engines and Aubier et Dunne & Peugeot two-strokes. Gearboxes supplied by Burman, Chaise, JAP and Peugeot.AutoMoto built their own engines in the early years, and these were also supplied to the English m'cycle manufacturer Acme. The factory merged with the Peugeot group in 1931 and manufacture ceased in 1962. Like the pictures are showing this rare and distinctive mid-century sport-machine has many nice and original details which makes it a real pleasure to look at. It has been in a non smoking office for over five years thus not been on the street since it has been fully restored. The four-stroke OHV engine starts at first kick and is running ever so smooth and strong, where the gearbox is shifting fine and has all gears present. The odometer reads 5591 km/3419 mile, only have no history with the bike to confirm whether this is correct Both the paint and chrome are in a Very nice condition, spokes and tires are new, where the nice red & gold colored pinstriping is carefully painted on. This motorcycle comes with a European Certificate of Origin (Title) which official document will be issued in your name and states the make, model, VIN, year of manufacture, displacement, weight etc, plus an official bill of sale from my company here in Belgium. Furthermore I’ll make sure that all the correct export-paperwork will be in place before the bike leaves from here, which documents will make the process of importing it into the US an easy ride. -On this listing I’m offering a special (fully sealed) crate, careful packing and physical shipping from here in Belgium to a US CFS as close as possible to you at my expense, meaning that I will pay for having the bike crated and all handling etc. plus the ocean-freight charge, where you are responsible for all charges at your (US) end, like entry-, port-, handling- and broker-fees etc.If you want any additional information about this, please ask before you place a bid. Furthermore, when you want to receive some better photo's of the bike/shipping, or want to recieve more information about this item, just let me know. Payment can be done either by PayPay, wire or credit-card. -Additional information to this listing; I only offer shipping by sea, where of course we can advise you on forehand about the process of importing the machine into your country and can help you to the contact-details of an ever so experienced US import-broker. When you are the high-bid buyer, I will ship this machine at my expense from here to one of the following Canadian destinations (container freight station-depot); -Calgary ALB-Charlottetown PEI-Edmonton ALB-Halifax, NS-Moncton NB-Montreal-Ottawa ONT-Quebec City QUE-Regina SAS-St. John's NF-Toronto Vancouver BC-Winnipeg MAN ..To one of over 60 US destinations, Or to another destination (please check whether I can ship to there before you place a bid). For Canadian buyers, check this link regarding importation; https://www.tc.gc.ca/eng/motorvehiclesafety/safevehicles-importation-1338.htm For US buyers, like can be read in the link, this antique combination is because of age exempt from US import-duty and EPA regulations; https://help.cbp.gov/app/answers/detail/a_id/278/~/importing-classic-or-antique-vehicles-%2F-cars-for-personal-use The crate will safely sail in a sealed container and the shipment is fully insured for eventual damage/loss.I always pack vehicles myself, only use certified crates plus new packing-materials and deliver the crated machines in person at the Antwerp warehouse of the shipping-company (see images) Furthermore I pay for having every shipment insured against damage or loss during the complete process of handling and sailing. Of course I will inform you about the complete process of shipping and provide you all the information you need from the beginning on and send you pictures of the process of packing and actual delivery at the Antwerp port as soon as these processes are completed.
