I charged the battery changed the oil and hit the key it started right up. I have driven it myself and it runs and drives excellent plenty of power and very smooth. Unlike so many of these cars everything appears to be very original. No modifications that I see other than a radio! Look in the trunk you will see all the books and manuals, complete tool kit, tire compressor and the convertible top boot. This car will need some TLC but is sure to make its next owner very happy. A good tune wouldn’t hurt since it has sat for years. I would recommend going through it prior to any long journeys. Engine sounds great has tons of power. The transmission shifts very smoothly as well. Clutch grabs a little low but does not slip. As for the condition the car is very original. The interior is very nice…seats are 12 way power no rips or tears. The dashboard is perfect as well NO cracks. The rear window on the top is cracked and the top is in-op. The body of the car shows no signs of rust but does have some battle wounds. Some small touch-ups from stone chips, a scratch that was touched up on right side, some fading and some dings. I am being picky in a effort to be clear but from 10 feet away the car looks excellent. Please all I ask is be realistic. This is not a show car, its nice original 944 that needs some TLC. Payment options: A $500.00 non-refundable deposit is due within 24 hours of the close of the auction. Balance to be paid within 7 days via certified funds. A $299.00 dealer conveyance fee is attached to the final price, this includes basic vehicle safety inspection, paperwork preparation and temporary plate if needed. Vehicle sold as is.
